Responsibilities of Employee Campaign Coordinators (ECC'S)


To bring together the necessary resources to plan and implement a successful employee campaign in your workplace.


  • Review and analyze your organization's past campaign performance with the United Way staff
  • Recruit a Committee from across the organization
  • Attend training sessions and learn about the United Way and the steps to a successful campaign
  • Develop a plan, timetable and goals
  • Recruit and train Canvassers


  • Kick-off the campaign
  • Identify and resolve campaign challenges
  • Monitor and report campaign progress and final results to the United Way
  • Hold special events to raise awareness of the campaign and the United Way
  • Wrap up campaign /announce achievements


  • Evaluate results and make recommendation for next year
  • Thank committee members, canvassers and donors
