• Has been a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters PEI since 2009; helping with Bowl for Kids Sake & office administration duties.
• A member of the Wheatley River 4-H Club from 2008-17 where she volunteered to serve as club Secretary (2013-2015) and President (2015-2017).
• Part of the Key Club at Colonel Gray where she actively volunteered at the Soup Kitchen and Queen Charlotte Homework program serving Secretary for the 2016-2017 year.
• A member of the Colonel Gray Safe Grad from 2014-2017 and 1 of 6 voluntary executive members in 2016-2017 who planned chem-free events for graduates. 
• A volunteer with the Milton Community Hall (serving dinners), PEI 4-H Council (judging projects, planning district, provincial, and club events), Sports Center Physiotherapy (helping with Kinesiology duties), and Cavendish Beach Music Festival (selling tokens).

• For the past 12 years has been a volunteer coach in our Charlottetown softball program, youth programs and many fundraising events. 
  
• Has attended 6 national games in either a coach or mission staff role and 1 world games in Greece with the softball team.  
• A huge asset to any team as her problem solving and team building skills combined with her wonderful sense of humour are exactly what is needed in a games environment.
• Judy’s coaching style lends itself well to our athletes.  She is equal parts kind and caring while still pushing our athletes hard in their quest for sport excellence. 
  

Lisa Rose - Consistently gives back to the community of Fortune and communities in surrounding areas.

• A girl guide leader a for over 6 years spending countless hours in weekly preparation for their Tuesday gatherings at the Fortune Community Center; crafts, badge presentations, etc... Every year, she does fundraising for special girl guide trips through craft fairs, pancake breakfasts and more.
• Volunteers her time every year to give back to the Kings United Pastoral charge through dessert parties, lobster suppers and more.
  
• Fundraising for the heart and stroke foundation for well over a decade and for years, did large fundraising campaigns for the breast cancer.
  
• Each year, volunteers her time to flood the outdoor rink at the Fortune Community Center, take care of the ongoing yard sale and gardening at the hall. 
  
• Each year gives a family in need a complete Christmas rounding up gifts and a meal for the family assigned to her through Island Mothers Helping Mothers.
  

Erin Veale & Brian Strongman - Long time volunteers with the Western Region Sports and Recreation council.

• Brian and Erin are our primary volunteers with our Pickleball Program in their community of Ellerslie and regularly go above and beyond their duties, attending the program 1-2 times a week, making sure that all newcomers feel welcome at the program, recruiting new players, collecting payment from participants and ordering the equipment that is needed.
  
• Always eager to help and volunteer their time with our other programs that encourage kids in our region to be healthy and active volunteering all summer to coach minor soccer in their community, and  both have often made themselves available to assist with our After School Activity Hour Program. 
• Erin & Brian are involved in the Try Hockey program, a free program for kids grades k-6 to try hockey without the financial commitment required from minor hockey, once a week after school. Erin is great to make sure all the players have the proper sizes and tied skates. Brian also takes a leading role in our Try Hockey Program, organizing and running puck drills as well as scrimmages with the kids.
