Bell Aliant recognized for contributions to United Way

Bell Aliant is one of several companies who contributed to the success of the United Way of PEI’s campaign that raised $1-million or more in 2011.
“United Way of Prince Edward Island is grateful to Bell Aliant and its employees for their outstanding support,” says UWPEI President Kris O’Brien. “What a way to celebrate the United Way of PEI’s 50th anniversary. All the money donated to the United Way of Prince Edward Island stays on the Island to help Islanders in need.”
Bell Aliant also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the United Way of Prince Edward Island for both its corporate and employees’ efforts and support during the 2011 campaign.

The presentations were both made at Bell Aliant’s annual fundraising BBQ in support of the United Way of PEI, which was held at their Belvedere Avenue offices on Wednesday, July 11.
