Who We Are

The true beginnings of the United Way date back to the Great Depression, but the United Way as we know it today was established on Prince Edward Island in 1962. We are one of more than 100 United Way offices across Canada.

The United Way is a registered not for profit organization operated by a volunteer Board with the assistance of a small staff. There are also numerous volunteers working on behalf of the United Way of PEI in a variety of roles.

The United Way of PEI is located on the 2nd floor of the Maritime Electric building, 180 Kent Street, Charlottetown, PEI.
